Forbes magazine released a list of 40 richest people in Indonesia in 2010. The owner of Djarum Group, R Budi and Michael Hartono, still the number one Indonesia’s richest with a fortune of about 11 billion U.S. dollars, or about Rp 100.1 trillion (exchange rate of Rp 9,200 per U.S. dollar).The wealth of the rich Indonesia was also increased sharply compared with last year. Last year the property owner Djarum Group is about 8 billion U.S. dollars.
Overall, the wealth of Indonesia’s 40 richest people reached 71 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 29 billion U.S. dollars compared with last year’s 42 billion U.S. dollars.Rising property tycoons Indonesia is due to commodity prices, such as coal mining and palm oil, which is improving.


This is seen from the entry of a new tycoon into the 40 richest people of Indonesia, namely coal mining entrepreneur Kiki Barki. Owner Energy Tbk PT Harum is thrust to the order’s 11th richest person Indonesia with total assets of 1.7 billion U.S. dollars.
